DURHAM, N.C. -

A senior community in Durham has received $6,000 in donations since WNCN aired a story about a couple using music to cope with Alzheimer's disease.

Croasdaile Village said it has been given around $5,000 from individual donations and the Croadsdaile's unrestricted fund. The Durham Kiwanis Club of Tobaccoland donated $1,000 to the community.

The donations will allow the community to buy 85 units for people who live at Croasdaile.

The community is still accepting donations.
