3 men charged with breaking into cars at NC State

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Three men have been charged with six counts of felony breaking and entering a vehicle, N.C. State University Police said Monday.

 The NCSU Police said the break-ins happened on campus over the past few weeks.

While on patrol Nov. 12, an officer located a vehicle in a university parking lot that had been reported stolen to the Raleigh Police Department. While the officer was investigating the stolen vehicle, three subjects that had been hiding in the parking deck fled the area.

Two were caught and the third suspect was later identified and taken into custody a short time later.

Charged with six counts of felony breaking and entering as well as six counts of misdemeanor larceny are:

  • Marcus Lamont Archibald, 21, of Poole Road in Raleigh
  • Sean Randez Archibald, 23, of Poole Road in Raleigh
  • Evan K. McLeod, 18, of Poole Road in Raleigh
