UNC sends letters of disassociation to 4

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

The University of North Carolina sent letters of disassociation to four men indicted as part of an investigation of sports agents by the North Carolina Secretary of State.

Georgia sports agent Terry Watson, former North Carolina Central University quarterback Michael Johnson,  Patrick Jones and Willie Barley all received the letters banning them from any future contact with UNC student-athletes or anyone involved with Carolina athletics.

In the letters, Athletic Director Bubba Cunningham says the men are banned from the Football Center and other campus athletic facilities even if they are accompanied by a current or former UNC athlete.

Cunningham also says the terms of the letters are permanent.
