Robeson Co. woman wanted in connection to shooting

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said detectives are searching for a woman wanted for questioning in Friday morning shooting.

Authorities are looking for 34-year old Tiffany Prince Bethea, whose last known address was the 100 block of Sheila Drive in Parkton.

Bethea was last seen leaving the crime scene at around 6:30 a.m., the sheriff's office said. 

Authorities said there was gunfire heard in the 6100 block Earp Court in Fayetteville around 6:30 a.m. Neighbors called 911 shortly afterwards.

A victim, later identified as 17-year-old D.J. Williams, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound.

Detectives are continuing to investigate this case.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at (910) 323-1500.
