Runners sport ugly Christmas sweaters for a good cause

Posted: Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS, I.N. -

Thousands of runners turned out layered in their favorite ugly sweaters this weekend as The Ugly Sweater Run came to Indianapolis for the first time.

More than 2,500 people of all ages and even four-legged participants braved the cold for the 5K course.

Hot chocolate and other holiday-themed stations dotted the route to keep everyone warm.  All of the proceeds will go to Toys for Tots.
