IF YOU'RE LIKE ME DURING THE HOLIDAYS, YOU HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMIILY FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY COMING INTO TOWN TO SPEND TIME WITH YOU.  WELL, A LOT OF PRESSURE.  YOU WANT TO GIVE THEM NC FLAIR WHEN IT COMES TO THE FOOD THAT YOU EAT AND THAT'S WHY WE'RE AT THE ANGUS BARN.   I'M WITH MYRTLE EARLY FROM THE NC DEPT OF AGRICULTURE.  HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THIS PLACE DURING THE HOLIDAYS?  IT'S GORGEOUS.  AND IT'S WONDERFUL TO COME HERE.  WHEN YOU LEAVE DURING CHRISTMAS TIME, HAVE YOUR DINNER IT'S WONDERFUL AND YOU WILL GET A GINGERBRD MAN TO GO.  YOU GET AN APPLE EVERY TIME, BUT DURING THE HLIDAYS YOU GET AN APPLE AND ITS WONDERFUL. NOT ONLY IS THE FOOD DEILICIOUS BUT YOU CAN ALSO BUY NC PRODUCTS RIGHT HERE IN THE STORE AT THE ANGSU BARN.

YES WE'LL START WITH THIS ONE RIGHT HERE, CHAPLE HILL TOFFEEE, ITS MADE BY A COUPLE IN CHAPEL HILL, A NEWER PRDOUCT. THAT'S SO GOOD.  WE'VE MADE SOME APPETIZERS HERE WITH SOME CHEESE AND MS. JENNIES PICKLES.  MISS JENNIES OUT OF KERNESVILLE AND IT IS A COUPLE THAT STARTED GROWING PICKELS AND NOW THEY'VE GOTTEN BIG AND THEY'RE IN A LOT OF GROCERY STORES SO YOU CAN DO MANY GIFTS WITH THESE. I'M GONNA TRY THAT NOW.  I'LL TRY IT WITH THE PEPPERONI. FOUR FLAVORS, THAT'S GOOD.

WE'LL GO NOW TO MACKEYS FERRY AND IF YOU EVER GO TO NAGS HEAD THEY'RE AROUND THE JAMESVILLE AREA.  THEY HAVE A STORE AND THEY SELL MANY OF THESE PRODUCTS IN THEIR STORE.  MACKEYS FERRY HAS SUGAR COATED PEANUTS, THEIR OWN PEANUT BUTTER TOO AND THAT'S ONE OF THEIR BEST SELLERS.

WE'RE GONNA GO TO BILLY'S BBQ SAUCE.  THIS IS FROM CARRBORO, NC AND THEY HAVE A COCKTAIL SAUCE. THE COCKTAIL SAUCE IS WONDERFUL BUT THEIR BBQ SAUCE IS GREAT TOO.  FORDS IS LOCATED AT THE STATE FARMER'S MARKET IN RALEIGH.  SOUTHERN YUM IS A SOFT PECAN BRITTLE.  FIRE DANCER IS ONE OF THEIR BEST SELLER PEANUTS AND THEY ALSO MAKE THE BONE SUCKING SAUCE.  THE BONE SUCKING YAKI SAUCE IS  A GREAT TERIAYI GLAZE.  JUST GRILLED CHICKEN AND GLAZE IT WITH SOME TERIYAKI SAUCE.

WE'VE GOT SOME NC WINES.  ONE IS FROM THE YADKIN VALLEY AND IT IS WINDSOR RUN CELLARS, THE OTHER IS A DUPLIN PRODUCT, DUPLINE WINE CARLOS.  WE HAVE LOTS OF NC WINES, SOMETHING FOR EVERY PARTY YOU DO.

THEY HAVE A STORE RIGHT HERE IN THIS RESTAURANT AND IT HAS SOME OF THESE PRODUCTS.  THE BARBECUE SAUCE IS FAMOUS BECAUSE OF THEIR RIBS.  THEY ALSO HAVE SOME POPPYSEED DRESSING AND THEY SERVE THAT ON THE SPINACH SALAD SO YOU CAN BUY IT HERE, TAKE IT HOME AND MAKE YOUR OWN.

TELL ME ABOUT THE CATALOG.  ITS A CATALOG OF ALL THESE WONDERFUL NC GOURMET PRODUCTS.  WE HAVE 50-60 DIFFERENT PRODUCTS.  IT'S CALLED DISH THIS AND YOU CAN GET IT AT OUR WEBSITE.
