RALEIGH, N.C. -

North Carolina State University Campus Police say an evacuation of D.H. Hill Library has been lifted.

The library, located on the north side of the Brickyard, was evacuated Sunday after the university received a call from an unidentified person stating that there was a bomb placed in one of the restrooms of the library.

Police say the building was searched and officials did not locate any type of suspicious device.

The library was re-opened around 5:30 p.m.

Police say the incident is under further investigation.
