Man robs Carter bank in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Carter Bank & Trust lat 697 Country Club Drive in Fayetteville was robbed Monday afternoon.

A white male entered the bank, approached the counter and handed a note to the teller demanding money.  The man then  fled to Sports Utility Vehicle that was white or cream-colored.

The robber is described as a white male between the ages of 45 of 55, with shoulder-length brown hair. He was wearing a black baseball hat and a camouflage jacket.

Fayetteville Police said they will disseminate photographs as they become available.
