BLOUNTVILLE, TN (WJHL) -

Nearly two years after a Blountville crash investigators blamed on two street racing teens, neither of the kids involved will go to trial.

The February 2012 crash seriously injured the driver of a third vehicle.

Earlier this year prosecutors charged the two teens involved with being delinquent, but a judge later ruled against moving the case to adult court.

Assistant District Attorney Andrea Black says since the teens are now 19, the case cannot move forward in juvenile court. Because of that, she says prosecutors recently dismissed the charges against the teens.
