Once they were on the plane. volunteers scrambled to the stores to buy all the presents guests had said.
"We know that Santa has a very busy schedule at this time of year, and can't be everywhere," employee Greg Plata said. "So we did what WestJetters do best, and helped him spread some Christmas magic to our guests."
During the big unveil, Santa surprised travelers at the baggage claim in Calgary, with all of their presents wrapped and ready to go home.
Tears, smiles and hugs were delivered all around. Watch the WestJet "Christmas miracle" video, but make sure you have a few tissues handy, though.
The video, which was posted on YouTube on Sunday, already has more than 7.5 million views.
