Fayetteville police searching for bank robbery suspect

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

The Fayetteville Police Department said the First Citizens Bank on Ramsey Street was robbed Thursday afternoon by an unknown suspect.

Police said at 3:30 p.m., the suspect walked into the bank, located at 3604 Ramey Street, and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described the suspect as a black male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall wearing a dark baseball hat with a golden "A" logo, black shirt and blue jeans.
