Construction workers deliver toys to pediatric patients

Posted: Updated:
GREENVILLE, N.C. - Construction crews took a few hours off the job today to spread some Christmas cheer.

TA Loving Construction Company who helped build the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant in Greenville delivered toys to pediatric patients for it's third annual Tonka Truck Toy Drive. The group collected more than 2,000 toys this year for pediatric patients.

Donations came as far away as Arizona. Every child treated at the hospital during the holiday season will receive a toy.
