Goldsboro teacher accused of indecent liberties with a student

Posted: Updated:
GOLDSBORO, N.C. - A teacher is accused of an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Police say they arrested 28 year old Benjamin Randall Strickland, a teacher at the Wayne School of Engineering, an innovative high school in Goldsboro. He was charged with one count of indecent liberties with a student.

In November, a female student came forward and reported a relationship she was having with Strickland.

Strickland was relased on a $2,000 unsecured bond pending a first appearance.

Officers say the case remains open and other allegations are being investigated.
