Caught on Camera: Suspect wanted in Greenville strong armed robbery

GREENVILLE, N.C. - Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect in a strong armed robbery.

It happened in Greenville just after 1 a.m. Thursday.

The victim told officers that the suspect approached her, threatened her, and demanded her purse as she was walking along 4th Street near its intersection with Evans. He fled the scene westbound on 4th after she gave him her purse.

No weapon was shown and, fortunately, there were no injuries.
