Fort Bragg will operate on delay Wednesday

Posted: Updated:
FORT BRAGG, N.C. -

Expected inclement weather has prompted Fort Bragg to operate on a two-hour delay across the installation.

The delay includes schools and Department of Defense civilian employees. DoD civilian employees should report two hours after their normal reporting time.

According to a press release from Fort Bragg's Public Affairs office, physical training is canceled for all XVIII Airborne Corps units, including 82nd Airborne Division units. Soldiers should be in touch with their chains of command for report times.

Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities, including Child Development Centers and gyms that normally open prior to 7:30 a.m., will open at 7:30 a.m.  All other opening times remain the same.

Both North and South Post Commissaries will open at 9 a.m., with no Early Bird hours.

Womack Army Medical Center and the outlying clinics, including Clark Health Clinic, Joel Health and Dental Clinic, Robinson Health Clinic, Troop and Family Medicine and Womack Family Medicine Residency Clinic, the Fayetteville Medical Home and the Hope Mills Family Medical Home, will open at 9:30 a.m., Jan. 22.

Patients with appointments will be rescheduled.
