RALEIGH, N.C. -

A group of Triangle women looking to lift women out of poverty with a Dress for Success program will hold a major party and fundraiser Feb. 1 at Solas in downtown Raleigh.

Women for Success is comprised of young professionals who support Dress for Success Triangle and its mission to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women. They are working to support disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to pull women and their families out of poverty.

The Lift Benefit will be Saturday, Feb. 1, at 8 p.m., and the public is welcome to attend. Single tickets are $40 and tickets for couples are $75. You can get more information here.

One hundred percent of event proceeds will be donated to Dress for Success Triangle. Triangle Women for Success has raised more than $11,000 already for Dress for Success through quarterly events and hopes to raise another $10,000 in 2014.

Attendees at the first annual Lift Benefit will enjoy complimentary beer, wine and appetizers as well as a D.J. and jazz band.

More than 300 people are expected to attend, and all the ticket sales will go to Dress for Success.

Those who can't attend the event can donate here.
