The Atlantic Coast Conference released its complete football schedule for the 2014 season Wednesday afternoon.
North Carolina will travel to Notre Dame on Oct. 11 for a meeting with the Fighting Irish. A change for the Tar Heels will be when N.C. State comes to Chapel Hill to close out the regular season on Nov. 29. Carolina's game with Duke is the previous week, a Thursday night match up on Nov. 20.
UNC will face nine teams that played in bowl games last season.
The Tar Heels fell to Notre Dame on their last trip to South Bend on Nov. 4, 2006, 45-26.
N.C. State hosts the National Champion Florida State Seminoles at Carter-Finley Stadium on Sept. 27. The Wolfpack travels to new ACC member Louisville on Oct. 18 and then to Syracuse two weeks later on Nov. 1. The Pack will open the season at home on Aug. 30 versus Georgia Southern.
Duke opens ACC play at Miami on Sept. 27 and ends their season by playing Wake Forest in Durham on Nov. 29. The Blue Devils out of conference schedule includes home games against Elon, Kansas and Tulane while traveling to Alabama to take on Troy on Sept. 6.
