Police name suspect in Chapel Hill shooting

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Chapel Hill police are looking for a 24-year-old man who is wanted in connection with a Friday night shooting on West Rosemary Street.

Police said Dennis Junious Clark shot someone multiple times in the 300 block of West Rosemary street around 6:30 p.m.

The victim was transported to UNC Hospital for treatment. His status was not released by police.

Police confirmed the victim was not a student at UNC.

Clark is described as a light-skinned black male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call 911 or call Crimestoppers at 919-942-7515.  Calls to Crimestoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller may be eligible for a cash reward up to $2000.00 for information that leads to an arrest.
