2 suspects arrested in connection with Chapel Hill shooting

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -

Hillsborough Police arrested two men Saturday in connection with a September 2013 shooting in Chapel Hill, however a third suspect is still on the loose.

Rahmil Ingram and Jahmil Ingram were arrested at Gateway Apartments in Hillsborough by Hillsborough Police in connection with the Sept. 24, 2013, shooting of 45-year-old Kenneth Hardin.

Hardin was found with gunshot wounds to his hand and abdomen. He was taken to UNC Hospitals where he was treated and released.

Police say Jaheem Rashard Watson is still wanted in connection with the shooting and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Rahmil Ingram is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling and two counts of assault by pointing a gun.

Jahmil Ingram is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree kidnapping, and related conspiracy charges.

Jahmil Ingram is being held on a $30,300 bond. Rahmil Ingram is being held on a $495,500 bond. Both men are being held at the Orange County Jail.
