Pirates Set Rotation for Opening Series

GREENVILLE, N.C. -

East Carolina has set its pitching rotation for this weekend's season opening series against James Madison.

Pirate ace Jeff Hoffman will start for the Pirates in game one. Hoffman is projected as a first round draft pick in June.

David Lucroy will start for East Carolina on Saturday, while newcomer Tyler Bolton gets the nod on Sunday.  All three weekend starters are righthanders.

Lefty Reid Love is scheduled to start on Tuesday when the Pirates host Campbell.

Game one of the James Madison series is Friday at 3pm.
