Surfing pig draws adoring fans to Hawaiian beach

Posted: Updated:
HAWAII - Love comes in all shapes and sizes.  This little pig for instance loves to hit the waves.

It all started a few months ago when Kai Holt says he was camping with his family on a Hawaiian beach and a little piglet walked into his cabana.

The two clicked instantly.  Holt named him Kama and took him home.

One day Kama slipped into the pool and swam to the edge all by himself.  That's when holt decided it was time to try surfing.

“Yeah, I think he enjoys it you know,” said Holt.  “He really gets off on it; seems like he has a good time out there.  I think it makes him happy.”

Holt says Kama brings joy to all who watch him from the beach.  The pair plan on surfing together for years to come.  Holt's already making plans to buy a bigger board.
