According to Fox 8 meteorologist Chris Franklin, heavy overnight storms continue moving east, and cooler, less humid air is settling in. Yesterday's high at the airport reached 80 degrees which was the first 80 degree temperature since December 6th, but today highs will remain in the low and mid 60s. Morning clouds will clear and we will have lots of sunshine today and tomorrow. Overnight lows are expected to be in the 40s and perhaps a few upper 30s north.
Tomorrow afternoon temperatures will reach the upper 60s and by Sunday the low 70s. On Sunday, the front looks to return northward and trigger scattered showers. Some clearing is expected Monday. By Wednesday, more storms develop with a stronger cold front. A much chillier day is expected by Thursday of next week. And we could see another freeze!
