"It's not good for business," said Little ArtGallery owner Rosanne Minick. "We closed early yesterday -- we left at 3-- and most of the shops also closed up."

PPP said 44 percent of small business owners it surveyedsaid they had to close for a week, and some owners say they had to close for aslong as 14 to 30 days.

"We have closed twice, so our numbers have been alittle inconsistent compared to last year's sales," said the ImpeccablePig manager Leah Dodson.

Dodson said the Impeccable Pig stayed open during Monday'sice storm, but they had few customers.
