Watch WNCN's Gibson get hit by NC State football player

Being a sports reporter for television isn't always fun and games.

On Wednesday, WNCN sports reporter Todd Gibson took a hit at N.C. State's spring football practice while he was filming with his camera on the sidelines.

Gibson was shooting with the heavy camera on his shoulder when a Wolfpack player ran right into him on a pass play and bowled him over.

"You alright?" someone asked Gibson.

"Yeah, I'm alright," Gibson said.

"That's some good footage," someone tells him.

In fact, Gibson kept on filming throughout the encounter.

Hey, Gibson – known as "Gibby" around the station – has taken a hit before. He was the quarterback for his high school team back in Ohio, and the team finished 10-0 his senior year.
