An Indiana man on spring break in Florida  landed in jail after a spring break prank went awry.

Tate Andrews, 20, of Kokomo, Ind., is charged with tossing a chest full of ice over the 12th floor balcony of the Legacy By The Sea Condominiums in Panama City Beach, Fla.

However, the chest and chunks of ice landed on a pool deck and nearly hit Bay County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Faircloth, according to WKRG.

Andrews faces third-degree felony charges for throwing a deadly missile. He was booked into the Bay County Jail on a $1,500 bond.

The News Herald of Panama City reported that Faircloth looked up and saw Andrews laughing. Faircloth went after him and found Andrews in the bathroom.
