Hillsborough/Pasco Sweetbay stores to become Winn-Dixie

TAMPA, FL (WFLA) - As of now, a total of 43 Tampa Bay area Sweetbay stores are scheduled to become Winn-Dixie.

On Friday, it was announced an additional 18 area Sweetbay stores will convert to Winn-Dixie stores starting April 5th. Bi-Lo Holdings says it will begin to rebrand the stores throughout the Tampa, Brandon and Zephyrhills areas.

This comes after a previous announcement earlier this week that 17 stores around the Tampa Bay will become Winn-Dixie, plus 8 more stores in Manatee and Sarasota Counties.

The following Sweetbay stores are scheduled to close on Saturday, April 5, and reopen on Friday, April 11, as Winn-Dixie stores:

  • 8837 North 56th Street, Temple Terrace
  • 15692 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa
  • 6425 East County Line Road, Tampa
  • 27301 SR 54, Wesley Chapel
  • 38901 Highway 54 East, Zephyrhills
  • 1519 US Highway 27 South, Lake Placid
