Hope Mills Police seek help searching for missing teen Saturday

HOPE MILLS, N.C. -

Hope Mills Police are looking for volunteers on Saturday to help search a wooded area for any information on missing teen Danielle Locklear.

The police will lead a search of the wooded area behind the Fox Meadow subdivision off of Legion Road.

Anyone wanting to help should report to the South View High student parking lot at 8 a.m. Before the search, volunteers can email their name, address, birthday, phone number and driver’s license to:

finddanielle@townofhopemills.com.

Volunteers can also register Saturday morning.

Volunteers must be over the age of 16 and sign a release waiver before participating in the search.

Searches should wear comfortable clothes for the search.

Volunteers who want to contribute drinks or snacks should meet at South View High as well.
