Fayetteville authorities respond to gas leak

LUMBERTON, N.C. - Fayetteville authorities said emergency crews responded a gas leak in Lumberton Wednesday.

Authorities said liquefied petroleum gas was leaking from a transport vehicle at 940 Back Swamp Road in Lumberton.

Robeson County authorities requested help which sent in crews from Fayetteville around 5:30 p.m.

Authorities did not release the cause of leak or the amount of gas leaked.

Emergency crews were still on the scene as of 10:30 p.m.
