HENDERSON, N.C. - A third suspect in the shooting death of a man at a BP gas station in Henderson was arrested Friday, police said.

Dontrell Jaquan Hargrove, 22, of Henderson, was arrested and charged with one count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, and one count of accessory after the fact to first degree murder, according to Henderson police.

Henderson police said Ahmed Shahit, 55, was murdered Monday night at a gas station located at 615 Raleigh Road.

He was placed in the Vance County Jail after failing to post $150,000 secured bond. Hargrove’s first scheduled court appearance is March 31.

Two other suspects were arrested earlier in the week in connection with the murder.
