Employees at a Pinellas Park McDonald's who posted surveillance video of a woman's topless rampage have been fired, according to the store's owner/operator.

The woman, Sandra Suarez, 41, was arrested for criminal mischief and resisting an officer with violence.

Pinellas Park Police told News Channel 8 that the incident happened at 10:50 p.m. on March 24 at the McDonald's located at 10191 66th St.

The video shows Suarez damaging numerous pieces of industrial food preparation equipment by "throwing them, knocking them over, and smashing them," according to an arrest affidavit.

The damaged property included display racks, cash registers, large quantities of food and other miscellaneous items including a Mcflurry machine.

The video also shows Suarez apparently eating ice cream out of a machine on the counter and taking french fries.

The manager who was working that night, Eric Stevens, at McDonald's said he first noticed Suarez waving her hands out in the street. He tried to keep her from coming into the restaurant. Stevens says she offered him sexual favors.

"I proceeded to ask her to put on her clothes, she was not allowed in the store without clothes, then she proceeded to tear up everything and she got mad at me over everything that happened," said Stevens.

Stevens lost his job after the video went public. He didn't know the employee was going to post the video on the internet.

"In a way it was my mistake the way it got out, but I don't think I should've lost my job because I worked too hard at that store, I've never had any disciplinary action," Stevens said.

Juan Illas, identified as the owner/operator of the store, issued the following statement:

"The situation leading to this woman's arrest was, at the time, surprising to all involved. However, the posting of the video was without authorization and inconsistent with my values and how we operate our restaurant. The individuals involved are no longer employed with my organization. Any further comments on the situation would be inappropriate given that this is a police matter."

News Channel 8 found Suarez at her home a short distance from the McDonald's. She says she has bipolar disorder, is on medication, and does not remember most of the incident.

"I will call you back. If I decide [to do an interview], I will call you back," said Suarez.

Suarez is also charged with resisting an officer with violence.

"She took an aggressive stance, lunged at officers, bumped them with her body, attempted to grab the male officer's crotch and attempted to pull away from officers," according to the arrest affidavit.

The affidavit also said that Suarez made numerous suicidal statements.

Police say Suarez was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

She was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on March 25 and was released on March 29 after posting $7,000 bond.
