FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -

Police have identified a suspect in connection with a shooting March 24 in Fayetteville.

Fayetteville police are searching for 21-year-old Datorius Lane McLymore in connection with the March 24 shooting of Andre Tramaine Womack.

McLymore is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, inflicting serious injury with intent to kill and attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon.

Police say Womack, 40, was shot inside a home in the 200 block of Irene Street. The suspect then fled the scene.

McLymore is known to frequent the areas of North Street near the Ramsey Street corridor and Cat Tail Circle near the Cedar Creek Road corridor. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Datorius McLymore, is asked to contact detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856.
