GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Two men have been arrested in the shooting death of a North Carolina A&T football player.

A statement from Greensboro police said 22-year-old Kendrick Louis Robinson and 20 year-old Lemiah Wyatt Sanders Jr. were arrested Thursday morning. Both men were taken into custody without incident.

Robinson and Sanders are charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Their status wasn't immediately known.

Police said 22-year-old Jermane Darnell Clark of Winston-Salem was shot about 11 p.m. Tuesday.

Capt. Mike Richey said it appeared Clark was approached by one or more people and an argument started and he was shot in front of his home in Greensboro. Police don't know what sparked the argument and have not determined a motive

Clark played in six of A&T's 11 games last year.
