1 killed in Goldsboro shooting

GOLDSBORO, N.C. -

Goldsboro police are investigating a shooting in the 100 block of Ervin Drive after a man died from a gunshot wound Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to the scene around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found 42-year-old Doral Deangelo Best lying in a ditch with gunshot wound.

Wayne County EMS tried to revive Best on scene but was unable to do so.
