    One of the two American aid workers infected with the deadly Ebola virus in Africa was to be discharged Thursday from an Atlanta hospital, a spokeswoman for the aid group he was working for said.

BESSEMER, AL -  An 18-wheeler caught fire late Wednesday night on I-459 near exit 1.
    
Bessemer Fire Department officials say the fire caused a major backup on the interstate as crews worked to clear the accident site.
   
According to a firefighter on the scene,  the driver of the tractor trailer got out of the vehicle without injury. 

So far, authorities have not said how the fire started.
