The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man whose wife took him out of a nursing home on Sunday and did not return him.
Patricia Parker checked 56-year-old Norman Alan Parker out of Countryside Villa Nursing Home in Godwin on a one-day pass, but never returned him to the home.
Norman Parker, who suffers from a cognitive impairment, is a ward of the state of North Carolina and his wife was denied earlier this year efforts to be his appointed guardian.
Patricia Parker was granted visitation rights, but is ins?tructed to return him to the facility within a specific time.
The Parkers were last known to be traveling in a 2014 light blue, four-door Chevy Sonic vehicle.
Norman Parker is believed have been without his medications for quite some time, and it is possible that his medical conditions may have worsened as a result.
