One Person Killed In Greenville County Nightclub Shooting

One person is dead after a shooting at a Greenville County nightclub early Saturday morning. One person is dead after a shooting at a Greenville County nightclub early Saturday morning.
GREENVILLE, S.C. - One person is dead after an early morning shooting in Greenville County.

The Greenville County Coroners Office said 31 year old Joseph J. Marion of Greenville died after getting into a fight with another party at the Black and Mild Club.

Master Deputy Jonathan Smith of the sheriff's office said that deputies responded to the Black and Mild Club on Hampton Avenue Extension around 3 a.m. after receiving a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they said they found a black male dead from a gunshot wound. 

According to Smith, there were very few patrons of the club who were still at the scene when they arrived, and investigators are in the process of trying to find witnesses to the homicide. No suspect(s) have been identified in connection to the shooting.

    Two teenagers were rushed to University Medical Center in serious condition, that according to emergency dispatchers, who said they fell more than 12 feet from a ride at Saint Anthony's Bazaar on Sunday night.It happened shortly past 10 p.m.Dispatchers said firefighters also requested a ladder to rescue somebody stranded on the ride. The Crimes Against Children unit is investigating. There was no immediate indication from police of why that unit is involved.
