Church rings in Father's Day with Men's Day Service

WILLIAMSTON, N.C. - A local church is ringing in Father’s Day by celebrating the men of the church.

On, Sunday Mount Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Williamston held is Men’s Day service.

Dozens of fathers and their families gathered at the church for of honoring men in the church and the community.

The service featured a men’s choir, new father and guest speaker Elton Coffield II, and sermon geared towards fathers.

Mount Shiloh MBC Pastor, Vincent Price, says Men’s Day is about celebrating and uplifting the father’s in the church and the community.

“Support what the man is doing [and] support what the father is doing. This is what Father's Day is all about, enjoying Dad and keeping him positive in what he does and what he doing for the family," said Price.
