RALEIGH, N.C. -

Investigators are trying to figure out if a fire that burned four school buses at a Raleigh high school was an accident or was intentionally set.

The fire was reported around 10 p.m. Saturday at Southeast Raleigh High School.

Neighbor Tim Key said he heard three explosions that each shook his house.

"About 9:30 last night I heard a large boom and the house kinda shook a little bit. I thought at first a transformer blew," Key said.

Fire officials say all three buses were fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.

Firefighters and police are trying to figure out the cause of the blaze.
