COLUMBUS, Ohio -
The north and southbound lanes of U.S. 23 have reopened north of Interstate 270 on the city’s north side due to a gas leak.
Columbus police closed U.S. 23 between Lazelle Road and Dillmont Drive shortly before 7:30 a.m.
Northbound traffic on U.S. 23 was being diverted at I-270.
The roadway reopened by 9:40 a.m.
It is still unclear what caused the gas leak.
