NEWPORT, N.C. -

A New Jersey man arrested by US Marshalls was extradited back to Carteret County Thursday night to face charges.

Deputies say 60-year-old Antonio Rodrigues, of Brick, NJ, is accused of several acts of stalking and secretly installing a video recording device in the bedroom of his estranged wife's residence on Deep Bay Drive in Newport.

Rodrigues has been charged with one count of felony stalking, one count of felony secretly peeping using a photo recording device, and one count of violation of a domestic violence protective order.

Rodrigues is being held without bond and is scheduled for his first court appearance Tuesday. Deputies say this case is still under investigation and Rodrigues may face additional charges.
